Hazel is a partner in the commercial and regulatory group of King & Wood Mallesons, specialising in antitrust. She was recognised as ‘Leading Lawyer (Up and Coming)’ in the competition area by Chambers Asia-Pacific Guide 2016.
Hazel specialises in advising clients on a variety of antitrust and anti-unfair competition law issues, and has experience of China merger filings across sectors including high-tech, manufacturing, chemical, logistics, mining, beverages, consumer, electronics, etc. Hazel is also one of the few lawyers in China who have handled national security review cases in different industries and acquired clearances successfully.
Hazel received her bachelor of art and master of law degrees from Southwest University of Political Science and Law. She also received an LLM degree from Columbia Law School and the postgraduate diploma on EU Competition Law from King’s College London. She is qualified to practise law in the PRC and the State of New York
