Andrea Wilhelmová has been working at the Antimonopoly Office of the Slovak Republic since 2011. She is currently a member of the Chairman’s Division, where she conducts internal and external communication on behalf of the AMO, liaisons with other central bodies of state administration, and represents the AMO in international forums (ECN, OECD and ICN). She also drafts internal and external strategic documents of the AMO; articles for periodicals specialised in competition policy; and prepares professional papers related to investigations and proceedings conducted by the executive departments. Before her current position, she worked as a case handler at the Department of Abuse of Dominant Position and Vertical Agreements, where she carried out investigations and drafted enforcement decisions and actively participated in related ECN working groups.
Andrea Wilhelmová graduated from the University of Economics in Bratislava, Faculty of International Relations. She went on to complete an internship at the European Commission, DG Competition, Unit for Antitrust Telecommunications, where she gained hands-on experience in the area of competition policy.
