Alfonso Ois joined DLA Piper at the beginning of 2008 as a senior associate of DLA’s EU and competition department. He holds degrees in both economics and business administration from the Pontificia Comillas University of Madrid (ICADE), and a law degree from the Universidad Nacional a Distancia (UNED). He began his professional career with CMS Albiñana y Suárez de Lezo, where he worked in their London and Madrid offices as a member of the department of public law, regulatory and competition. He is now a legal director in the litigation and regulatory group at DLA Piper Madrid office and a professor of competition at the Universidad CEU and the IE University.
Mr Ois specialises in antitrust law and merger control. He also has broad experience in government regulation and competition law in the energy and telecommunications sectors.
