Waiting is the hardest part: The Asia-Pacific Tipline for 26 April 2019
It may not have been a promise, but Justice Godfrey Lam Wan-ho at Hong Kong’s Competition Tribunal did previously say that he would aim to decide the territory’s second-ever cartel case by the end of March. Given he had yet to issue a decision for the first cartel case, several local lawyers also expected to see that decision by the end of last month too. We’re now approaching May and still waiting patiently to see how cartel jurisprudence will begin in Hong Kong. For now, we have coverage spanning the wider Asia-Pacific region, including India, Taiwan, Korea and New Zealand.
