Vodafone/Three claim they could exit UK telecoms market without merger

Vodafone and Three have argued their proposed €17.5 billion joint venture will challenge the UK’s “structurally dysfunctional” telecommunications duopoly, while claiming they may be forced to exit the market if their deal cannot proceed.
