Vestager defends decision to appoint Scott Morton before EU Parliament

There is no indication that the European Commission’s new chief competition economist Fiona Scott Morton will be conflicted when working on key EU regulation and the suggestion that she cannot work on tech cases is “simply not true”, Margrethe Vestager has said.
