Morrison & Foerster partner Lisa Phelan is a former chief of the National Criminal Enforcement and Washington Criminal I Sections of the Department of Justice’s Antitrust Division. Despite going after hundreds of accused cartelists in her 30 years at the DOJ, Phelan has said the agency prosecuted only two women during her tenure. In a Q&A with GCR USA, she discussed her views on gender imbalance in big business and why antitrust enforcement needs to rethink its male-oriented lens.
