US DOJ sues to block consummated filtration deal

Accusing the companies of failing to provide information during its investigation, the Department of Justice has sued Parker Hannifin over the filtration product maker’s completed acquisition of rival Clarcor – more than eight months after the statutory waiting period for the deal had expired.
