UK Supreme Court: agency justified in not repeating “mistake”

A decision by the UK’s former competition watchdog to allow one tobacco retailer to benefit from some of its co-conspirators’ successful appeal – but not to allow others to do the same – was a “rational response to the predicament which it faced,” the country’s highest court has ruled.
