UK likely to accept proposed Asda/Co-op divestment

The UK’s antitrust enforcer has said it is likely to approve Asda’s £600 million purchase of a Co-op subsidiary, subject to the sale of 13 petrol stations and their attached grocery stores to address local competition concerns.
