South African tribunal rejects cartel complaint over lack of evidence

The Competition Tribunal of South Africa has thrown out a cartel case against a frozen foods company because the country’s antitrust enforcer could not prove that its contract with a beef producer qualified as a market allocation agreement or had any impact on competition.
