South African enforcer seeks maximum fines for K-Line

The Competition Commission of South Africa yesterday referred Japanese transport company Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha to the Competition Tribunal, asking the specialist court to fine the company 10% of its turnover for alleged price fixing, market division and bid rigging affecting the transportation of Toyota vehicles to Europe.
