China sent a sizeable delegation this year to the BRICS competition conference, where representatives from the country’s State Administration for Market Regulation provided a window into how it views the food, pharmaceutical, automobile and digital markets. The main theme of the conference was increasing the cooperation of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa, including in tackling competition issues presented by globalisation and the technology revolution – Russia’s antitrust agency has called it the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
