Qantas buys smaller rival, despite prior warnings from ACCC
Qantas has decided to acquire the 80.1% of rival Alliance Airlines that it does not already own, despite a warning from the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission that an attempt to increase its stake would raise significant competition concerns.
