Portugal fines telecoms cartel as second probe continues

The Portuguese Competition Authority has imposed an €84 million fine on Altice’s local subsidiary MEO for colluding to fix prices and share markets with virtual mobile network operator NOWO, which escaped a penalty as the leniency applicant.
