Meat inspection provider offers to unwind UK merger

The UK’s Competition and Markets Authority is poised to accept a specialised vet company’s proposal to unwind its already-completed acquisition of a smaller rival, after the enforcer warned the deal would limit competition for providing meat inspections and export controls.
