KFTC again fines steel cartel in show of ‘zero-tolerance’ approach to collusion

The Korean antitrust watchdog has fined 11 steelmakers a combined €190.7 million for rigging public tenders to purchase steel reinforcing bars, while referring more than half the companies for criminal prosecution.
