Israeli court asserts jurisdiction over interchange fee class action

A district court in Israel has dismissed Mastercard’s and Visa’s claims that an antitrust class action against them cannot proceed because the credit cards in question were issued outside the country, in what is the first Israeli interchange fee claim involving foreign cards used by tourists.
