Infrastructure company abandons merger after Swedish authority hints at deal block

Construction services provider Vestum has dropped its proposed purchase of a moisture protection material supplier after Sweden’s competition enforcer indicated it would likely block the tie-up, but will proceed with a below-threshold acquisition of another company included in the same deal.
