Google must change search practices and pay more than €2 billion

The European Commission has issued a long-awaited decision forcing Google not to discriminate against online shopping rivals that are featured on its search engine, and ordered the company to pay €2.42 billion – the largest fine the enforcer has ever imposed against a single company.
