Former ACCC boss urges rethink of airline sector competition restrictions

Denying Qatar Airways the opportunity to operate more flights to and from Australia harms competition at a time when Qantas Airways is facing huge public pressure for posting record profits, a former head of the country’s antitrust watchdog has said.
