CMA rebukes Meta’s allegations of procedural misconduct in Giphy review

The UK’s Competition and Markets Authority did not hide relevant information from Meta during its investigation into the company’s purchase of Giphy, nor did it unlawfully allow staff members to make significant additions to its decision to block the deal, the enforcer’s counsel has argued.
