CMA conditionally clears Morrisons takeover
The UK’s Competition and Markets Authority has approved US investment firm Clayton Dubilier & Rice’s £7.1 billion acquisition of supermarket chain Morrisons, after the buyer agreed to divest 87 petrol stations to a pre-approved rival.
