CAT urges Apple claimant to seek disclosure to back iPhone abuse claim

The UK’s Competition Appeal Tribunal has hinted that it may delay a decision on whether to certify a collective action seeking £853 million in damages from Apple for its alleged use of malfunctioning iPhone batteries, after questioning the factual and evidential basis for the claimant’s abuse accusations.
