CAT reluctantly accepts late expert evidence in proposed interchange fee class actions

The UK’s Competition Appeal Tribunal has allowed a last-minute expert report purporting to calculate merchant pass-on rates at the start of a three-day hearing to determine whether to certify four new class actions against Visa and Mastercard.
