CAT orders split trial in train operator class actions

The UK’s Competition Appeal Tribunal has refused Justin Gutmann’s request to order a single trial in his class actions against three UK train operators, as the legal fees saved if certain hearings prove unnecessary would “greatly” outweigh the costs of splitting the case.
