Belgium closes landmark abuse probe into below-threshold merger

Proximus’ €20.5 million acquisition of edpnet no longer faces an abuse of dominance investigation following the sale of the telco provider to a rival, Belgium’s Competition Authority has said – concluding the first application of the EU top court’s Towercast judgment.
