Austria fines power tool maker

Austria’s Cartel Court has ruled that Makita must pay €1.56 million for 13 years' worth of anticompetitive conduct, during which time the power tool manufacturer negotiated resale prices with retailers and imposed a ban on parallel trade of its products.
