Australian pharma company seeks lenient penalty in criminal cartel case

An active pharmaceutical ingredient producer has asked an Australian court to fine it less than A$1 million (€686,000) after pleading guilty to three counts of criminal cartel conduct, citing the limited impact on Australian consumers.
