ACCC must cover own costs for merger challenge hearing despite abandonment
A court has awarded Australia’s competition authority costs for securing an injunction that temporarily prevented a pair of IVF providers from merging, but stopped short of recompensing the agency for the substantive hearing due to begin this month despite the deal being abandoned.
