K T Jung has practised corporate law for over 30 years at Kim & Chang, the largest law firm in Korea, and has extensive experience in the areas of corporate law, mergers and acquisitions law and antitrust law. Mr Jung currently chairs the firm’s corporate department and its antitrust practice group.

Mr Jung has guided mergers and acquisitions in a broad range of industries including the pharmaceutical, automobile, IT, petrochemical and oil-refining industries. He has represented numerous international and domestic clients in most of the major cartel and market dominance cases of the firm.

Mr Jung received his BA in law from Seoul National University (1974) and his LLM from Harvard Law School (1986).

Mr Jung has received numerous notable awards and citations for distinguished service to clients. Mr

Jung has also taught competition law at the graduate school of law at Seoul National University and has served as outside legal adviser to the Korea Fair Trade Commission.
