Karl Lundvall specialises in competition and regulation issues. He has a wide experience of sector studies, including food retail, car resale, finance, international price comparisons and econometrics. At Copenhagen Economics, Karl has been involved in a large number of antitrust cases, advising private clients on mergers and abuse of dominance. He has also been project manager for sector studies in network industries.
Lately, he has headed projects on public procurement and choice models in the Swedish primary health markets. Karl is experienced with working on both sides in the antitrust enforcement game in close collaboration with lawyers and corporate representatives. He was previously employed by the Swedish Competition Authority for six years.
Karl Lundvall has a PhD in development economics from Gothenburg University.
