Talya Solomon co-heads FBC’s competition and antitrust department. She specialises in all aspects of competition and antitrust matters. Her practice concentrates on complex antitrust litigation, including class actions, with a particular emphasis on international cartels.
Ms Solomon has extensive experience in representing leading multinational and domestic companies before regulatory bodies, particularly the Antitrust Tribunal, the Israel Antitrust Authority and the Commissioner of Trade Levies. She regularly assists her clients in obtaining the approval of the Israel Antitrust Authority for merger transactions and investments.
Ms Solomon represents major clients in a wide range of markets, including banking, insurance, credit, energy, communications, transportation and industry.
Prior to joining FBC, she served as a legal counsel in the legal department of the Israel Antitrust Authority for more than five years, where she was a team leader and was involved in civil and criminal antitrust litigation and was in charge of antitrust matters in a variety of markets, including banking, credit and insurance.
