Małgorzata Krasnodębska-Tomkiel

Krasnodębska-Tomkiel was appointed president of the UOKiK on 4 June 2008. Previously she was vice president of the Office, responsible for operations of the Department of Competition Protection, Department of Legal Affairs and Department of Market Surveillance. She has been working for the Office since 1998.

Krasnodębska-Tomkiel holds a PhD in Law. She has been a lecturer of antimonopoly law at Collegium Civitas, Polish Academy of Sciences, and Warsaw School of Economics. She has authored a number of publications on Polish and EU competition protection law, including academic works, additions to the Polish Supreme Court’s decisions and press articles.
