Loukia Christodoulou

Loukia Christodoulou was born in Limassol. She holds a BA Law (Hons) from the University of Kent at Canterbury and an LLM on International Commercial Law of the same University. For eight years she worked as a lawyer in established law firms in Limassol. From 2000 to 2007 she was a member of the Tax Appeal Tribunal of the Republic of Cyprus. She also took part in various legal and tax related Conferences. Loukia was a member of the Commission for the Protection of Competition from May 2008 until December 2011. The Council of Ministers then appointed her as chairperson of the Commission until April 2013.

In April 2013, the Council of Ministers appointed Loukia Christodoulou as chairperson of the Commission for a further five years.
