DoJ turns to slot and facility sell-offs to end US/AA merger challenge

Faced with mounting pressure from businesses, government officials and airline creditors, the US Department of Justice's antitrust division today reached a settlement that will allow US Airways to purchase American Airlines and become the largest airline in the world.
