China grants Wal-Mart control over home-grown retailer

China’s Ministry of Commerce (Mofcom) says US retailer Wal-Mart may proceed with its purchase of Chinese retailer Niuhai Holdings if it agrees to restrict its influence over a telecoms subsidiary.
