Women in Antitrust 2016: Economists

17 November 2016

This week, Global Competition Review features 10 competition economists at some of the world’s leading consultancies and law firms, including Compass Lexecon, RBB Economics and Oxera.

Economics is essential to antitrust, whether hashing out the divestments attached to the latest big-ticket merger; measuring damages in follow-on litigation; or calculating the complex econometrics to back – or attack – a theory of harm.

Our Women in Antitrust 2016: Economists are the vanguards of competition economics. Four of the entrants are from the US, while four work in the UK. One competition economist in each of Brussels, Singapore and Australia round out the list.
