The seven-lawyer practice at A.M. Pereira Sáragga Leal Oliveira Martins Júdice & Associados (PLMJ) is recognised by peers as one of the country’s leading practices. In terms of mergers, the firm advised Zon Multimedia in the notification to the PCA of a joint venture with Portugal Telecom and Controlinveste and secured merger clearance for Essilor in several acquisitions. The team also advises CTT, Portugal’s postal incumbent, in the competition aspects of the company’s privatisation.
